From an all-star on the football field to a fallen star behind bars, Josh Brown offers a powerful, first-hand account to young people about the importance of decision-making and life-changing dangers of alcohol.

A 2012 graduate of Fairmont State University with an emphasis in speech communication, health studies and coaching education, the Shepherdstown, W.Va., native offers an example of dueling achievement and failure.

Josh gives a passionate, eye-opening account about what can happen as a result of addiction to alcohol - life-ending tragedy and three years of incarceration - despite highlight-worthy achievements as an athlete at Jefferson High School and Edinboro University.

Today, having received an opportunity to start fresh, Josh has made it his mission to reach out and share his story as part of an effort to mentor young athletes about their potential in life when alcohol and drugs are not part of it.

Over the course of the last two years, Josh has spoken with students and student athletes at several high school and college campuses, including Fairmont State, Alderson Broaddus and West Virginia Wesleyan, sharing his story about the climb to redemption after a fall from grace.
